They defend us, our freedom, and our ideals. Not enough people thank these couragous people, too many take it forgranted. I remember once hearing a friend of mine critisize soliders, calling them murders, I responded with the fact they fight so you can have the right to say such nonsense. They fight, and do it for nothing in return, that is why they deserve so very much. Great post, we really owe so much to these brave men and women. They defend us, our freedom, and our ideals. On our recent visit to Afghanistan in 2007 we were shown a water truck behind the Nangarhar Medical Faculty teaching hospital that is no longer functioning. It was a great source of humor and amusement to our guide and some of the locals there. I was wondering if I could contact him to make him aware of it and see if someone from the PRT might be able to go over and repair the water truck and get it operational?
